Thanks for all the comments and emails. We are not out of the danger completely but the news channels have helicopter up and flying over the areas in Fallbrook.
Finally, the local stations are showing what is going on.
I am going to sign off on this blog, unless something turns for the worse.
My prayers are with all those who have suffered in this disaster.

i wanted to let you know that i appreciate what you have done here. i am paniced about my friend and his family and because of your simple site i have been able to figure some stuff out. i live in Michigan so the only coverage we are getting is bland.
i thank you for posting this blog so that people who have friends and family in the situation can be updated since the cell phones are jammed.
i have just read this tho:
UPDATE (5:30 pm) Fallbrook has been made the number one priority for the State of California, according to North County Fire Public Information Officer John Buchanan. Buchanan said, "The situation is very bad. It's grim and we need a lot of help."
